The Chapel of St Andrew, Leinthall Earles

The Chapel of St Andrew, Leinthall Earles, lies in the parish of Aymestrey and shares the same Parochial Church Council. It is on the fringe of the Gatley Park estate. It is a charming and ancient building of stone, consisting of chancel, nave, west porch and a western turret containing one bell. The chancel contains two small windows believed to go back to Norman or Saxon times. The west gable is wood framed; the roof is tie-beamed. There is a Jacobean pulpit. Music is provided by a harmonium.
